Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet is a play written by William Shakespeare. This tale is known as the most or one of the most beautiful love stories ever written. It’s all about two people falling in love with the absolute disapproval of both their parents. In contradiction with what their parents want, both Romeo and Juliet risk their lives just so they could see each other. And love one another for that matter. They risk everything for love, that’s what makes this so touching. Most people always fantasize about the perfect love story and being truly devoted to someone. Because it is so hard to find, people try to live the story for their own. To imagine how it would feel to love and to be loved just the way Romeo and Juliet love each other. A lot of people still believe they can find the desired piece of heaven. But despite all the great searches, not many succeed to receive the most wanted thing in the world. About the story itself, Romeo and Juliet belongs to a tradition of tragic romances stretching back to antiquity. Shakespeare was very young when he wrote it. It’s probably one of his first big pieces.  The story was rewritten as a play, and later on, people made many similar movies about the storyline. But, also very different storyboard have been used. One of the more modern versions of the original play, is the movie with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. It was a good attempt but the movie didn’t have as much as success as they had hoped. It only scored an average of 6 points on the movie scales. It’s a pity but it doesn’t really match, yes, it also has the big lines  but it wasn’t a real success.
